I know the team are already considering a few pawfuls worth of potential events and panels for the convention, but it's always good to have more suggestions, thoughts, and opinions! So, if there's anything you'd like to see at the debut of NordicFuzzCon when it comes to activities, please feel free to post about it here - be it something borrowed from another convention or something entirely new and unique.

Suggestions for activities should be somewhat reasonable though - something that would be possible to pull off given the convention's location and resources. Going to da moon in a hot air balloon, while fun, would be difficult to arrange and probably involve breaking a few laws of physics.

If there's something you're very passionate about and would perhaps like to host and organize yourself, please also shoot an e-mail to events@nordicfuzzcon.org and write about your idea.

What I can already tell here is that I will most likely run an official fursuit photo-shooting.

If everyone else has some ideas what he would like to see at NFC or if he would maybe even like to run a panel himself just send an email to our head of events like Baxxter posted above.

Well I have a nearly finished table top roleplaying game, where I`ve mapped out the entire campaign where you can discover the world bit for bit as your own fursona if you`d like.
The rules are based on a simple persentage system with only 3 statts.
Wouldn`t be to much of a fuzz to rewrite it to fit in to the theme.

Let`s see what I can pull out of my arse.

Looking fer tressure in a far away land,
we met an old man with a hook for a hand.
For a tankard of ale, the map was for sale.
It showed us the island where treassure did lie
But, be warned maeties, all who have tried did die
Yarrharrharrrharr!!

That sounds rather nice. What kind of rule system does it use? Is it strictly BYOD (bring your own dice)? :3
I love those kind of RPG's as well, but in this case I thought more about a role playing area for fursonas and/or costumes.
Both would be awesome, though! :D

I had it written down somewhere here, I`ll get back to you on the rules, or we could always use the fudge system.
I think introduceing newbs to d20 or the brp system is a bit to advanced to explain all in the course of five hours, wich I`ve set as a cap for the event, I probably need to slice it up in to two parts. Also I`d need to know what sort of characters are going to be in the story so I can craft appropriete character tokens.
I had the go ahead from te Eurofurence staff, who were quite excited about it, but I had to manage my dealers spot to attend to. I should be able to complete it well before the con starts.

Ok, I've talked it over with my mate and a cupple guys, and yeah I, ll host it if the staff agrees. I`d need a tv or projector of sorts and some comfy seats and a table, and a paw full of hady shipmates to sail this thing.

I dont know how many off the participants that would be singles, but how about some sort off dating/speed dating event?

Also the 101 courses thats seems to be standards in furcons might be a neat idea. Since this is the first major convention in sweden Id guess many off us are preatty new in building and maintaing suits, as well as Id guess there will be a lot off people thats interested in how the suits are build and so on.

I think that a suiting panel on construction has already been suggested. I know I'm aiming to do something on fursuit performance. So I don't doubt there will be more on suiting in the schedule when it's finished.

I would add to that: maybe boardgames which would also be interesting for the audience to watch...?

In fact, I pretty much missed out on all the panels I wanted to attend this year. Ah well.

Yeah, it was the same for me. It was either good time for dinner or there was 4 panels I was interested in at the same time. A friend pointed out that Anthrocon has panels starting at the different times, so it's easier to sneak from one to another as some of them won't last the whole hour anyway. Although it may add some extra stress to organization team.

As in, people learning a specific sort of dance either at or before the convention, to do a co-ordinated dance? Or just fursuiters dancing in general? There most likely will be fursuiters dancing during the convention at some point. =)

I have suggested this somewhere else, but I think a Nerf Gun deathmatch would be badass. The idea is simple. everyone who joins are divided into pairs and then It's the last pair(or person if the winner's partner is taken down) standing who wins.

just a silly idea <w<

As long as there is a dealers den, that would be awesome :P

Also I might be up for doing a art-related panel!

Could be something like:

- Basic anthro drawing/anatomy
- Ferals vs weres vs anthros
- Working as a furry artist (tips, terms, pricing etc)
- other stuff!!

I like the idea of a were and anthro panel for drawing, it's something that I come across a lot.

This sounds pretty interesting! And useful, at least for full-time artists. But guess it might be of more limited interest than the broader "how to draw" panels.

Reminds me of one of my own ideas: a panel on how to best film fursuiters, and how best to edit your footage. I've seen a lot of fursuiting panels, I've seen a fair few photography panels, not yet seen any panels on filming. Yet a lot of people film fursuiters at furry conventions, and upload footage and compilations to YouTube.

I get I could incorporate things like pricing into a more generalized panel like 'taking commissions: guidelines' etc!

Am also thinking of making some leaflets/booklets on stuff like that to sell on my table :)
