Also I might be up for doing a art-related panel!

Could be something like:

- Basic anthro drawing/anatomy
- Ferals vs weres vs anthros
- Working as a furry artist (tips, terms, pricing etc)
- other stuff!!

If you are interested then please add the information into the system. This will make it easier for us to determine the interest and find people that are willing to organize panels.

To add the information go to my account -> panel information.

(If the panel information button is not visible under my account, then go to my registration status -> tick the box "Interested in holding a panel" and then click save)

I'll give vote to this one! Looks very fun to do & watch!

Does that have 2-player possibility also?

Yup! =) I've played it with around four others at the same time (but not in fursuits). There's an achievement for playing six players at once, too. I'm not sure what the limit on players is, or even if there is one.

Not sure how the Kinect would handle multiple fursuiters, and might vary from fursuit to fursuit how well it would be registered by the hardware. But it seemed to work well with Trax (with a few exceptions).

As I`ve stadet earlier, I can run a viking vs pirates tabletop where the entire world is mapped out on a screen, if there is any interest in it.

I could also hold a presentation of anthropomirphism troughout history, and there is quite a bit of viking history in that part. I also have the ability to go in depth here and dig up lots of interesting things pertaining to the fandom since my neighbor happens to be an archeologist.

Have you contacted our events staff about that? He is currently looking into panels for the con. Just send him an email under events@nordicfuzzcon.org if you haven't done so already.

Hmm. I've been aching to host a role playing adventure with vikings, but I doubt there will be enough time at the con... and none of the people I wanted to play with are going to show up at the con due to cost issues.

They're local furs all of them though. Maybe I can set something up with them in the lobby? Then again I doubt the hotel will appreciate their lobby being turned into a role playing den.

I have set it up under the panel section of the main site.
mickel perhaps we could cooberate on something?

For my own part I have registered the following posible panels I could hold.

A lecture about anthropomorphism from the bronze age to today, with extra focous on the viking age. (I`ve worked with an archeologist on this so there is a lot of interesting findings)

A basic drawing course based on the eight heads formula

The roleplaying game I just mentioned.

I would like to see some more discussion panels, for example a state of the fandom discussion panel.

Perhaps a party where we have viking and pirare music playing.

I would also like a film weiving.

Well, probably not enough time to do an adventure with the system I had in mind, but there's always Ironclaw. Not the most well written system there is, but it's fast and simple, and it's about anthro animals which I guess will suit the target audience. It also lends itself well to pirate themes. Not so much vikings, but hey, I guess you can shoehorn something in.

Well, there's still enough time to make up an adventure. Heck, took me fifteen minutes to write a campaign last time I had to do this at a convention... but would anyone be interested in playing?

Hard to say. Should be something people could play through in around two to four hours, I think. I think it sounds like fun, though. (Bonus points if pirates can be included.) If you're inspired and want to give it a try, then sure! Then you can submit it for official consideration by checking the "I am interested in holding a panel" box under "my account" on the main page, and / or sending an e-mail to events@nordicfuzzcon.org.

If I had the time, I could maybe try preparing this module. But no idea how long it would take to play through.

In my experience it takes two to four hours just to get people set up with characters and explain the very basics of the rules. More if it's a convention where people aren't focused. I could prepare characters beforehand and write a quick orientation on how the rules work no problem. If I could trust people to study those that could save a lot of time.

As for finishing in two to four hours, that's the beauty of role playing. You can stop after two to four hours regardless of where in the plot you are.

By utilizing the fudge system where you only have strength dexterity, health, status and toughness to worry about and anything else is just made up on the spot is much easier and faster. I find that We can get characters going in just a few minutes. As with most videogames I tend to just throw players in to the world and just call out which dice (in this case just two) they need to throw in any given situation. They don`t need to roll things pertaining to charisma, intelligence or wisdom as in D&D, I find it better to role play that and the DM can drop hints if needed, because a character is only as smart as his player.

The system is as follows
________________________________________________________________________________________________

you roll a dice even numbers is as sucess, odds is a failure, add sucesses subtract failures.
When using skills the Dm determins the ammount of sucesses nessecary, based on the conditions.

Distribute 22 points

Str oooooooo (strength)
dex oooooooo (movement acrobatics and hideing) (Dodge roll as many dice as dotts gett more than attacker)
Thu oooooooo (toughness Same as sanity in Call of cthulhu or braveness)
Stat oooooooo (status)

Armor (Roll one dice per dot to absorb dammage/ also removes one Dex dot)
Light O
medium OO
heavy OOO

Weapon Damage 00000000 (pick from below)

fist o (subdural heals by it self)
tiny (like a knife) o
smal ( like a shortsword) oo
medium (Like a longsword) ooo
large Like a greatwrod) oooo
gigantic (Like a cannon) oooooo

skill one oooooooo
Skil two oooooooo
Skill three oooooooo
and so on and so forth...

Health
o pricked
o
o cut
o
o bruised
o
o
o bleeding
o
o
o dying
___________________________________________________________________

Or a more simplistic system

dmg (damage)
def Defence)
hp Hitpoints)

Everything else is minds eye theater, Aka made up.

As far as a story goes I have alreaddy wiritten a partial story involving both pirates and vikings, It`s easyer to make sense of than you`d think. I`ve sent the infor to the panel department, ad they`re looking in to it.
I`m also holding atleast one, maybe two other panels, so this isn`t on the top of the priority list.
However, it doesnt stop us from just sitting down and just playing a game, I reccomend a minimum of 4 hours gameplay.

Now on to somthing completely different. How do you people feel about ghost stories? Yupp getting just perfectly drunk turning down the lights, sitting in a circle and telling scary stories. For extra effect it would be cool if we each have a candle in front of us and as each person tells their story we snuff out a candle. Wadda ya say?

Also, beeing a somewhat student of the occult, it would be interesting to have a panel on furry spiirituallity, a subject I see neglected at many furry gatherings. Also I give free tarot, and animal totem readings.

Well, if there's already an RP panel going maybe there's not much point in me holding anything. Saves me dragging the rule books there, too.

As for the other suggestions, well, not interested. I'm sure plenty of others will be, though.

maybe ask our events staff (events@nordicfuzzcon.org) if they already have one. I am not sure right now if there is an official RP panel planned so far.

As I said, I have a possible panel wich is an rpg, but this beeing the third one I volenteer to hold, it is less likely that I will have time and energy for it. I would appreciate if you Mickel, could run somthing. It`s been far too long since I`ve been an actual player. I can bring what ever books you need in pdf format on my iPad, honestly I`d rather have someone else than me hosting the rpg event since I`m alreaddy deeply involved with two other panels, but if no one else can or wants to I can. To put it it bluntly, I'm affraid I'm attracting far too much attention, and not letting other people trough. I used to be an extreme extrovert before moving to the middle of fokin nowhere, and now I'm not that comfertable beeing the center of attention. I find it much more satesfying having lots of diversety.

So, has anyone heard anything about any discussion panels?
