The national Swedish train company SJ is from now on offering the discounted train tickets for the days around NordicFuzzCon 2013. Right now would be the best time to book your trip in case you want to travel by train. From now on prices will slowly rise again with the low-price tickets being sold fast.

Tickets can for example be obtained on SJ's website http://www.sj.se/start/startpage/index.form?l=en

I think we're holding out for one of those 72-hour Stockholm travel tickets. (Does anybody know how much they are?) As we'll be going out and about in Stockholm and we're not sure how much time we have from our airplane landing, we might as well just play it by ear. Can you pick up those travelcards from the airports?

You mean the Stockholm card? I recall that when I got a weekend one I could only pick it up from the vistors center in the city center. You would be best off just using the Arlanda Express or Flygbussarna airport coach into town and picking it up.

The "Stockholm Card" is something different. Its a turist card which also allows access to some museums and such.

But there is also a 72-hour ticket offered directly from the transport company (see link in my last post)
